Steve is one of the Co-Founders of H3HR Advisors and HRevolutionize and has been focused on the development, implementation, and support of technology solutions to solve business problems for over 20 years, working with organizations ranging from telecommunications to consulting to higher education.
He is currently the Co-Chair of the HR Technology Conference, the world’s largest gathering of the global HR Technology community, and a writer/editor for Human Resource Executive magazine.
Formerly, Steve was on the Product Strategy team at Oracle, helping to build and deploy an amazing set of HCM solutions for organizations.
In the past, Steve developed and served as the instructor for a Graduate course in HR Technology for Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. The course focuses on the common applications of technology to solve HR and business issues. This course explored the latest trends in HR Technology like Performance and Talent Management, Second Life meetings, Twitter and wikis.
Trish McFarlane, author of the HR Ringleader blog, is the VP of Global HCM Strategy & Product Management at Infor. A former HR executive with over 15 years of experience in Big 4 public accounting, PR, healthcare and IT, her expertise in leadership, performance management, training & development, change management, social media and innovation enables her to capture readers and audiences with real-life examples of how leadership plays out in organizations.
Trish graduated from Webster University with a MA in Human Resource Management. She also holds a BA in Sociology and Minor in Political Science from the University of Missouri. She’s a working mother of 11 year old twins who loves writing, doing anything artistic, and volunteering for organizations that help children.
Trish co-founded HRevolution (http://thehrevolution.org), a conference that highlights emerging trends and the future of HR, with the goal of providing an alternative networking and learning experience for business professionals who were tired of the traditional conference model. HRevolution is an event that inspires collaboration and innovative ideas in the human resource industry. She also co-founded the Women of HR blog (www.womenofhr.com) in order to give a voice to practitioners who are passionate about issues affecting women in the workplace.
